I COSed on Thursday. However I don’t leave until Sunday.
Tonight, Friday, is my last night at site. I am really going to miss my host family. They have been awesome and I feel like they treated me like part of the family. It is really frustrating and sad that I can’t easily return the favour and have them as my guests. It is incredibly hard for Modovans to get tourist visas from what I have heard and researched myself. Plus… Airfare and visa fees are expensive. I hope I can get a job in the not so distant future which would nable me to bring them over to visit. My goal is to save extra money (budget) and fly out next summer. Visit

Wine... mmmmm.
1000 USD a bottle.I did a practice pack and all of my clothes fit into my backpack… I unfortunately have to take a small duffle bag for my sleeping bag, mosquito net, and I may as well pack my sunscreen, bug spray, pocket knife, razor, and an empty Nalgene in there so they don’t get tossed during security.
I wonder If I can check everything through to

I have 10 days to get everything in order, say my goodbyes (to friends and my family), figure out what to take, what to give away, etc… I'm stressed out, sad, happy, and everything in between.
I feel like I just did this, oh wait I did, 2 years ago!
Amazing how everything (the packing, goodbyes, and range of emotions.) I went through 2 years ago while preparing to leave for PC is a lot like what I am going through right now while I prepare to leave the PC...

Because my visa is only good for 3 days in 'Mother Russia,' I am now flying to Lake Baikal (from MOSCOW) and catching the train there to Ulaanbaatar. This will cut 3 days off of my travel on the train (while adding 3 days to my stay in Mongolia.) If all goes well I will enter Mongolia by 8pm the night my visa expires! Wish me luck… :o)

I was typing when I noticed liquid under my laptop… I wondered what it could possibly be… Then I suddenly realized my laptop was melting, no wait, liquefying! Then I tried to shut it off and it started to contort in a weird melt-y way.
It was very disturbing and I thought this is just a dream and my dream self woke up to find a melting laptop… And that happened a few times.
Fortunately is was just a dream… Going to shut down my laptop now and give it a nice rest…
Yeah.
I plan to switch to
Feel free to add me :)
Procrastination:
I can’t help but wonder of my procrastination (today after a bit of productive lesson planning, I played dodge ball with my students for 3 hours and then took a nap and watched Ghostbusters II)

Prepare for national camp on diversity
Finish PCPP paperwork
